Red Seal Design is situated in theLittle Karoo village of Barrydale in the Western Cape, South Africa.

Our core business relates to the manufacture of horticultural containers for plants and table ware.

We are also currently  developing ranges of floor and wall tiles that match bathroom  basins and kitchen preparation bowls.

Our arid environment lends itself to strive and develop unique products that embrace the natural beauty of ‘imperfection’ in our ranges that compliment the plants and do not compete with it. Our products are all handmade and each uniquely different.

We engage and have trained potters from Malawi who are economic refugees and support many family members in their home country. Our local residents are also employed on a full and part time basis. Each potter has skills that are developed over long periods of time. We share our rewards with the workers and assist wherever possible with housing and social benefits because they have many dependents both locally and in their home countries.
